The renowned entity in event and information management for both physical as well as logical security markets, Proximex, has officially declared about its association with Panasonic System Networks Company of America (PSNA) for providing the customers with better incident management, systems health monitoring, as well as situational awareness.
In order to pursue these efforts and plans, Proximex joined the Panasonic Solutions Developer Network (PSDN) as a gold partner. This initiative helped Proximex to integrate its Proximex Surveillint Command and Control Center Solution with the new and upcoming line of Panasonic (DVRs and NDRs) video recorders.
The new integration will help the customers to view relevant alarm and video information via the centralized interface of Surveillint. Moreover, the performance of Panasonic video recorders is also monitored by Surveillint. Further, it also monitors the parameters like video and power loss, memory capacity, and communication errors.
"We always want to help our customers get the most out of their Panasonic systems," said Mike Maddox, director of alliance relationships and developer programs, Panasonic System Networks Company of America. He further added, "Surveillint is an ideal solution to enable Panasonic customers to do more with their existing video surveillance systems. It provides a unifying interface that intelligently brings together video, access control, alarms, and more, so that a wide range of security events can be easily managed, leading to better overall situational awareness."
The Panasonic video recorders which are compatible with Proximex Surveillint Integration Modules include Panasonic WJ-ND400, Panasonic WJ-ND300/300A, Panasonic WJ-HD616/716, and Panasonic WJ-HD309A/316A.
