Panasonic, the Japanese electronics giant, has recently unveiled the Lumix range of cameras after holding a great show at the CES. After their big launches, the electronics giant has launched a new addition to the Lumix range of cameras–Lumix ZS20. Panasonic claims that the camera is the world’s slimmest 20x zoom camera measuring merely 1.11 inches in thickness.
Lumix ZS20 comprises a Leica lens that is capable of extending from 24-480 mm. It comes with a 1080p video recording that captures at 60 frames per second and a 14.1 MP CMOS sensor.PanasonicZS20 comprises both touchscreen and physical controls. What’s more, you also get the in-camera GPS functions. The CMOS sensor supports new features like crisper shots and noise reduction.
The photos can be clicked in less than one/tenth of a second with the extra speedy 120-frames per second (fps) autofocus system. Apart from that, 1080p AVCHD video at 60 fps can also be shot along with 1080p MP 30 fps.
The camera also comprises manual controlling feature that lets you adjust the aperture and shutter speed. There is a 3D photo mode as well that adds special effects. You have the flexibility of charging this camera using USB or even a conventional AC adapter.
Panasonic Lumix ZS20 is not among the usual digital cameras that are available as a dime a dozen. It is a fully loaded camera with extensive features in a portable and lightweight body. For $349.99, the camera is indeed a great buy. Panasonic ZS20 will be available in March 2012.
