Panasonic® adds another pair of tablets in BizPad line
Japanese Electronics giant, Panasonic has unveiled its new pair of Tablets in the BizPad line. The tablets, as the name suggests, have been designed primarily for business purposes. Initially launched in Japan, the tablets will be released worldwide later on. The two models include BizPad-580VT and BizPad JT-581VT. While the former is a 7-inch tablet, the latter is a 10.1-inch one. Both these tablets run on the latest Android OS, the Honeycomb 3.2.
Panasonic BizPad tablets feature a dual-core ARM Cortex A-9 processor, internal memory of 16 GB, 1 GB RAM, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Bluetooth as well as NFC capabilities via IC Card Reader are also available. Camera specifications have a vast difference. While the 10.1-inch tablet boasts of a 5 megapixel camera, the 7-inch tablet is equipped with just 1.3 mega pixel camera. The screen and display of the former model is also better as compared to the latter. 3G is also an optional feature.
Another specialty about these tablets is their rugged and tough appearance. These are tough as well as water-resistant since they have been designed for heavy duty work and ultimate performance. These are shock as well as dust-resistant and come with an easily replaceable battery pack for power backup. Both of these tablets are able to withstand the falls from short heights as well.
No pricing details are available yet. But, Panasonic BizPad-580VT will be available in late December, 2011 and Panasonic BizPad-581VT will be launched in mid-January next year.
