Every day, the reliance of people on the Internet to communicate and exchange information is increasing and so is the requirement for faster modes of data exchange and communication. A sluggish Internet connection and a slow download speed are just not acceptable. A seamless Internet experience is what is called for.
Japanese MNC and electronics giant Panasonic Corporation has recently disclosed that it is now using an ultra-high-speed wireless communication technology based on WiGig (Wireless Gigabit alliance) to speed up the implementation of “New Network Lifestyle”. The details of the 60 GHz multi-gigabit wireless circuit technology that Panasonic has recently introduced were recently posted on the company’s website.
The latest 60GHz technology is based on WiGig and is known as Smart Information Communication Technology (ICT).This technology makes even heavy wireless communication 20 times faster compared to the LAN making use of the same band frequency.
Through this technology, Panasonic plans to use “New Network Lifestyle” and work toward achieving a highly comfortable lifestyle in the future.
“Enabling multi-gigabit, ultra high-speed short range wireless communication technology, will bring us a step closer to make smart ICT possible. By adding Gigabit Wireless capability to mobile devices, data transfer can be performed at any time without even having to be concerned about connectivity,” said a senior executive from Panasonic.
The new technology from Panasonic can be implemented in businesses and households to ensure a convenient and speedy Internet usage. Using the Smart ICT, a 30-minute long and compressed HD video content transfer would not take more than 10 seconds. The technology is ideal for use on smartphones and other compact devices.
