This year at the CES event, Panasonic introduced a new Plasma 3D TV — VT50 series. This series has two models, which will come in two different screen size: 55-inch and 65-inch. The price and release date for the VT50 Plasma TV has not been revealed by Panasonic yet.
Panasonic new VT50 series features Infinite Black Ultra Panel, which means that it will provide extra clear picture even in darker rooms. There are high expectations that this series will win the title for the 2012 best television. Both the models (TC-P65VT50 and TC-P55VT50) support 3D and will also have the capability to convert 2D format into 3D format.
The new Panasonic Plasma 3D TV has enough connectivity ports to meet your needs, it comes packed with four HDMI ports, three USB ports, Ethernet cables, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Panasonic VT50 series will help users stay connected with their social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, etc. It also supports Viera Connect platform and users can simultaneously watch TV and switch to apps or social media, etc.
Panasonic VT50 comes with a Touch Pad Remote Controller, used for controlling the web-connected HDTV, which also has Skype and Netflix shortcut buttons.
Panasonic also reported that the new VT50 series will be well equipped with audio system so that the sound quality stands out from the rest of the TVs. It will be loaded with subwoofer and 8-train built-in speakers. This will highly enhance the audio quality.
The 1080p resolution screen is made up of a single sheet of glass and surrounded by thin bezel. Also, you can easily access social networking sites using the sidebar IPTV function.
